Grass roots

As soon as we stop participating in the mass killing of animals we open up a new awareness, but it has to start with individuals, doing what they feel they ought to be doing, without reference to what others are doing.  Corny though it might sound, it comes down to doing the right thing, in order that other individuals will ALSO act on an individual basis, when they start to notice things, and they take action.  They follow suit.  And in that way, the ball starts rolling.

A government will never act on behalf of ‘the animals’, since a ban on the killing of animals would be so unpopular that it would spell political suicide for any political party.  The breakthrough has to start at the grass roots level, with individuals.
