Today, despite the
difficulties put up by the omnivore world, there is already a growing number of
people who genuinely do care and who believe they’ll stop the great destructive
juggernaut before it swallows us whole.
The animal rights activist wants
to see things change, so that our species will be able to surge forward. This
is what vegans are optimistic for. Even though we are surrounded by cynics and
pessimists who don’t see a bright future ahead, we optimists do.
If we were confident of recovery,
we’d be more inclined to support causes like veganism and want to be involved
in their progress. Any great cause can inspire a new fashion and in doing so, mop
up obsolete systems and hard-nosed attitudes overnight. Along with the crushing
pessimism which goes with it.
